light headed

April 5, 2010

the earthquake today left me slightly light headed…. it was more of a sway than shake…………………………………and now i’m watching a show on pbs about how flowers advertise sex in nature and the evolution of flowers. the words they are using to describe pollination is slightly disturbing! ha

thank you to everyone who came out to our residency in march. we couldn’t be more pleased. we have another show coming up this week at Spaceland – April 8. It’s only $5 with a great line up:

Veil Veil Vanish, In Waves & Repeater. Mark Burgess from the Chameleons is DJing – I’m sooooooooo happy about that. The Chameleons have been one of my favorite bands for some time now.  If you aren’t familiar a good place to start would be “The Fan and the Bellows”.  That record is on constant rotation on my record player.

Let’s see….what else…. we have been working on new songs and are excited to play them for you. We hope to go into the studio soon and put out another ep =)
